In order to test your Wi-Fi you should first download and install WifiSpeed by SoftixNet Solutions tool.

1. Open WifiSpeed
How to open WifiSpeed:
- Use the desktop shortcut
- Open the run box with the Win+R keyboard shortcut > Type “WifiSpeed” in the box > press Enter
2. Things to do before starting the Test
- Ensure that no one is on the network (in order to get accurate result you must be sure no one is on the network except the device that will be used for this test)
- Make sure your are close enough to the wifi (if connected wirelessly).
3. Wait until Test is Ready
Before proceeding to test, give little second until WifiSpeed identifies more information about your network that helps it to test your wifi speed.
When it finishes gathering your network information the “Start” button will be unblured.
4. Run the Test
Click the “Start” button to start the test. On average, this might take anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute.
After that you’ll get the Test report result.
